ENVYRA WORLD

One element impacts another and together they form the world around us. Yet the world is slowly and quietly evolving. There needs to be equilibrium or… at least semblance of it in time. You are part of this vortex of life!

In this fascinating environment, 2–4 players (5 players with expansion) compete to collect varying sets of earthly themes, and strategically and efficiently accumulate points. They can also attempt to impact equilibrium. Like in nature, players compete individually, but their actions impact each other, sometimes unknowingly helping the opponent, sometimes dealing him a crucial blow.

Designed by Rudy Priecinsky, Envyra is a small, clever, simultaneous action game for 2 to 5 players (with 5P Expansion), playable in 15-20 minutes. The game requires the ability to analyze the situation and make proper tactical decisions quickly. Players must anticipate their opponents’ moves. Otherwise, they have no chance. The game is played in a series of fast-paced rounds divided into two phases. In the first phase, players simultaneously and secretly decide which tiles they try to capture in the next phase. They mark their decision by placing 1 or 2 cubes on their player boards hidden from their opponents’ eyes. Subsequently, they all reveal their choices and move their cubes in exact order from their boards onto the corresponding tiles in the playing area. A player may have to sacrifice a particular tile to obtain another. As soon as the number of cubes equals the required number displayed on the tile, the player with the most cubes captures it. In a case of a tie, the tile goes to the player that placed the last cube on it. The game ends when the End tile is captured.

Nothing will upset you more than the opponent outwitting you and snatching out the tile you desired so much. On the other side, it is a delightful feeling to execute a successful “combo” at the expense of an opponent who involuntarily contributed with their cubes.

The game includes a simpler variant for younger players.

Envyra is language-independent.
